Ululate
What a wonderful word.
But surely, for this type of verbal unintelligible utterance from the sound box such a word should have been onomatopoeic.
1620s, from Latin ululatus, past participle of ululare (see ululation ). Related: Ululated ; ululating.
(waits for howls of laughter....)

I think your correspondent will be interested in next Monday’s report, where Ebola will certainly be (tastefully) mentioned.
Stop Press: Ebola Post about to go viral.

OnPoint: Sunlight Resistance, in reply to
Probably because at this point the ‘book’ (or more correctly the first chapter – 23 pages) is all of a week old, it’s available on kindle/ebook thru Amazon:
Only 23 pages? Maybe someone could pdf it and drop it somewhere from outer space and we could read it....for free. You know...justice and all that stuff,

Even where voters collectively chose to return their Labour MPs to Parliament, they generally gave their party votes to National.
I have been out around Wgtn today and that fact kept being trotted out from friends and people I met. It’s hit a nerve alright. Going through the electorates last night as the numbers rolled in I couldn’t believe the contrast. I kept going back to check who actually won the freaking electorate!

Simon: A workmate (Pom) reminded me about something in a thumping down to earth realisation the other day. He referred to NZ like being in Birmingham.
Eh?
The Birmingham City Council is bigger than NZ. Period.
For anyone in NZ to ignore Chch or berate Aucklanders is as if Auckland was the whole of NZ and Epsom telling Remuera to go get knotted. The hue and cry if Ladies Mile got closed would be heard for miles - well - at least to Papakura. We are that close, that small and that connected. Some north of Bombay need reminding. Gerard is reminding all of us.

Hard News: We can do better than this, in reply to
Today he started to ask Farrar to, I think, to name these nasty Left bloggers but Farrar just plowed over with his spin of justification – for a long long time.
At the end where there was about 15 minutes left, Jim asked what they were thinking about recently. Chris Wikaira shot back a short piece then Farrar then began a loooong diatribe about an article in the ODT about calories being advertised at the counters of fast food outlets for nigh on the full time left until 5pm. A classic filler piece to take the opportunity to prevent further question of his "recent thoughts".
