It’s all composted itself in a couple of weeks, no one the wiser.
That can work when the individual poo sites are very widely distributed, eg off infrequently used tracks in the bush. Once there's a lot of crap in one area, human or bovine, nature gets overloaded fast.

we should defer to Stephen Judd for the pronunciation, since his was the “twat” in question. So to speak.
My "twat" rhymes with bat. A long-a "twat" has never passed my lips.
Of course now we'll discover that Twatcock is a fine old English surname pronounced "Twakko".

Notionally Lula isn’t in charge any more, but I find this interesting nonetheless:
(if you click through to the actual YouTube page, there are subtitles -- basically, he expresses solidarity with Wikileaks, hopes that Brazilian diplomats know their shit better than US ones, asks where the defenders of free speech are.)

I'd've thought that if you really supported Wikileaks' goals, your public response to the charges made against Assange should be something like:
...the off-duty conduct of a Wikileaks staff member is interesting. Now about that cable dump, what do you make of [insert outrageous governmental behaviour here]...
not buying straight into the diversion with non-factual responses based on your wishes about how things we don't know much about will actually turn out.

Lucy: perhaps it’s too soon to post it here, but you might enjoy William McGonagall’s The Tay Bridge Disaster, which is surely the worst poem ever written in English about serious loss of life. I’d be surprised if the lyric genius of Plunket could measure up.

Families of the lost men will currently have more immediate concerns than the law of privacy and, even with the passage of time, might not wish to bring an action. However, it is important to register that intrusive media conduct is not a necessary incidence of modern life. On the contrary, it is an infringement of a legally protected right to be left alone at times of significant distress and trauma.

Which made me think "Tiso's not that famous"...

I loved how there was no option for "never", or "when the children don't need their parents at home any more".

I must say it's an extraordinary coincidence how unscrupulous citizens are so much more tempted to forgo a job for a benefit when the economy is bad.
