Now if we could just winkle Dravid out I'd be even happier.
Mission accomplished!
So are we doing alright then?

I think the Bears had to do something like that to try and keep the fans onside
Last I saw they were going for Orlando Pace too

Morris dancers way too light to do the damage I’ve got in mind.
Play a one-dayer, then... Three Day Eventing ... then another one-dayer

Ok kids, exciting news:
EPIC Beer is giving us some free after-cricket drinks at the Malthouse on Saturday night. To get them, you have to talk to me. I know many of you are wondering if that's worth it, trust me it is. -
Teams have been doctoring pictures for years
I quite agree.
My Tarheels are going to wipe the floor with Villanova.
And Hadyn, when will you understand that the fouls and timeouts are past of the strategy, and enhance the intensity?
Yes to the Tarheels and a qualified yes to the fouls and timeouts
As you know I have often said that the only part of a basketball game that should be played is the last 2mins. If the Hornets can beat the Kings (sorry Megan) with a 3-pointer with two seconds on the clock then I don't know what the rest of the game was worth watching for.

Speaking of which, is Saturday still PAS day at the Basin? I won't be there (school fundraiser + injured foot) but I hope to be better and free enough for a trip on Sunday with my first-born. Still, it'd be kind of nice to look for y'all in the crowd.
Saturday is indeed PAS day. I'm in the process of organising post-cricket drinks (most likely with Epic at the Malthouse). If you can make that it'd be good.

I actually agree that a tied or drawn game can be good, especially if you see it coming from a way off.

Oh, and I just thought that Stalemate does contain the word stale. It also contains the word mate
And lamest. Just thought I'd mention it.
The original title of the post was Stalemate still contains the word "stale", mate
Thank god for backspace.
But can I point out that segueway isn't spelt segueway, it's spelt segue, which is Italian for segue
Curses foiled again.
A lovely blog; my key takeaway? This is now my desktop background
My work here is done

I'm sure I saw some video cameras at the other end of the hall. Hopefully we'll get some more video footage.
There was a blonde girl with a camera on a tripod and a "crew" doing interviews afterwards so there must be more footage somewhere
Also in real life it seems much faster and tougher, but still good work Red

[Eric] has a child, most likely a male child, aged four to ten. That is all I'm going to say.
I have the mind of a ten year old child so I got the reference straight away.
@LB Kung-Fu Panda quite correctly kicks ass. It's the best of the CGI animal bunch.
As for quantum... big and small are relative terms, hence while quantum is the smallest measurable difference, it could still be quite big to us (especially if you have a useless ruler). How's that for a kung-fu tortoise?
