Taste is the enemy of art!

at the risk of thread criss-crosssing:
Allende's suicide and the other 9/11 (1973) another country the USA has "tinkered" in
no conspiracy there then... -
the non-PC PC, and other big blues...
lest we forget International Business Machines (IBM) frontline assistance...the infamous Auschwitz arm tattoo began as an IBM number
see Edwin Black's Final Solutions in which he reveals that "During the Holocaust, IBM's New York headquarters and CEO Thomas J. Watson acted through its overseas subsidiaries to provide the Third Reich with punch card machines that could help the Nazis track down the European Jewry (especially in newly conquered territory). The first kind of human-marking system to be developed."
numbed by numbers...
just keep repeating the mantra:
"computers are our friends
they are here to help..." -

Zeitgeist
I'm guessing it's not the Adventures of Phoebe Zeitgeist from 1968 - created by writer Michael O'Donoghue ( National Lampoon, Saturday Night Live ) and illustrator Frank Springer (Marvel) first published in Evergreen Review in which the hapless heroine is tromped on by multiple tropes - a metaphor for modern times no less...

Tesla - what did JP Morgan (ergo Rothschilds) do with your paperwork? -
do you mean Vicki Hyde of the NZ Skeptics?
(and how come they don't use the British spelling of sceptic?)
anyway, I don't recall her appearing in The Skeptics AFFCO clip... :-)hope you'll be giving that conspiracy theory of
"19 mostly Saudi men taking over 4 planes and managing to engineer the demolition of 3 steel framed skyscrapers (WT1, 2 & 7) in one day, killing several thousand people as well as punching a smaller than 757 hole in the recently fortified wall of the Pentagon - actually into the offices of the people who were trying to find the several trillion US$ missing from pentagon budgets as announced by Donny Rumsfeld the day before (Sept 10, 2001), and strangely never really returned to..."
a good going over...
it is risible really, and no facts or paper trail to back it up

...how about a fleet of aquada taxis and ferries...
and turn the old bridge into accommodation?
(a la William Gibson in all tomorrow's parties )or even a life-size Lego© or Meccano© bridge, or one made from recycled ice-cream sticks or matchsticks... kiwiana - for the tourists...
Surely Hundertwasser left plans for an "earth bridge" of some sort - after all he invented transautomatism - it would be a quintessential kiwi artefact - a Gaudi tribute to the "Schiele be right" ethos...
or a rainbow bridge like the one to Asgard,
light engineering is only in its infancy...or just better bandwidth so one only need send an avatar to town (oooh Ruby, don't....)

- there's a thought - an expanded Public Address/Second Life/Sims interface - somewhere to wander round and chat, and interact, while in the system... I mean we now have an edit function - dreams are free

I guess we need to ask the tough questions:
- just where are all these people going to,
and coming from?
is that trip necessary?yrs Berry Rydell
