Ah yes the Letters of Bruce to the Kevins clearly states the use of the biblical alkathene pipe in cases of theft.

@Paul Litterick - po·grom (pə-grŏm', pō'grəm)
n. An organized, often officially encouraged massacre or persecution of a minority group, especially one conducted against Jews.Dawn Raids fit the bill as an organised, officially encourage... persecution of a minority group, and like Pogroms were/are often the result of a group being encouraged to move into an area only to be scapegoated when desireable by the authorities.
The Holocaust debate does mystify me a bit, and not wishing to offend and where confusion is not going to be caused use the Hebrew, Showa.
Tairana is correct in her use of Holocaust as an English word to describe her history, but not as a comparison to the Showa, IMHO.Do you use the word Diaspora to mean anything other than the flight of Jews from Palestine 8-6thC BCE?

Quite.

Islander - so one Maori myth variant may have the three kite of knowledge?
I'm really interested in myth making and the twists and turns it takes today. I was told Bracken studied things Maori and by all accounts was a descent bloke.
So this seems credible to me, of course if three is not used as it is so often in European traditions, then it's an interesting development of missrepresentation. -
I've heard it said that the triple star has multipul meanings.
Three Islands
Three Stars
Three Kite of Knowledgehttp://www.knowledge-basket.co.nz/kete/about/baskets.html
But of course meaning is in the eye of the beer holder.

Only ever holidaying & working holidaying in OZ, I've never come across the routine racism I see often in Christchurch.
Close examination of our colonial history is pretty horrid.
Pogroms, I mean, Dawn Raids anyone? -
Yeah it would have helped if the Herald used it too.
Air NZ was bailed out - so total privatisation clearly doesn't work for infrastructure, but socialism for the rich does.
It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=10615846

giovanni, I reserve the right to miss-spell Maori words as much as I do those in English. I can only speak Maori at a very basic level and cannot readily recognise dialect differences, therefore cultural heritage, as opposed to spelling miss-takes :)

Paul that's quite a bow you've got there.
But what did Trinadad & Tobago ever do wrong?
