Well, yes it is.
Good then.

And John Key is New Zealand's third head of government of Jewish descent, and I'd sure be wondering WTF was going on if that label appeared in every news report about him.
Yes, Craig, it's exactly the same thing.

One of the people debating with you writes for, er, Investigate.
As she's quite entitled to of course. And let's say I'm not surprised, given the caliber of her comments.
Doubt there's a musical in Peter Davis's life though.
Heh!

Yup. And then there's this recent pearl by international idiot Hal G.P. Colebatch:
New Zealand has a complicated and obscure voting system (for example, four parliamentary seats are reserved for Maoris, despite the fact few pure-blood Maoris still exist).
Which also made me think, thank the stars we don't actually think that way.

He's the first black president and the forty-fourth white president. I fail to see the semantic difficulty here.

Kiwis have a predilection for inspecting every strand of DNA to determine someone's Maoriness
Do they? I have formed a strong impression of the opposite.

I was just thinking - won't it be incredible to look back at these photos in, say, 30 years time? It'll be like time travel!
I've said it before, Streetview leaves me fairly cold, but a Streetview in time would be fantastic.

Chilka St is definitely there. Where's the playground?
Corner of Jaypore, but sigh... we're not there! Nor are the drunks who threw a can at the van. The photos of our street and of Berhampore school are more recent than the time when I saw that van, anyhow, I can see the murals being painted. So now I'm wondering who the earlier photgraphers were... spooky.
No, not that, it is a photo of Giovanni. Just in case anybody doesn't know, Giovanni and his offspring transmit an electrostatic (ήλεκτρον) verticals. This is due to Giovanni's, interpolation in the Internet. But he probably should be coming clean on that himself.
Memo to self: Steven Crafword knows too much...

Basically, they have to drive down every street in a camera-mounted vehicle.
My daughter and I should be in it - we were at the playground in Chilka street when they came through, I'll have to check it out.

I think of it as Auckland University of Tautology
In that case it ought to be called Auckland Tertiary University of Tautology, surely.
