It was a great article Damian, I just hope it doen't start yet another tiresome Jafas v. The Provinces war of words.
<Yawn and shudder> -
I believe Stephen Franks was the guy who issued a nonsensical press release shortly after 9/11 saying it was wonderful to see the brave and hardy people of New York getting on with cleaning up the dreadful mess, unhindered by namby pamby interfering socialist nonsense like the Resource Management Act and OSH.
Of course time has shown that if the officials had paused first, analysed what they were actually cleaning up, worked out the safest way to clean it up and the best way to dump it, a lot of very serious health issues would not be suffered by a great many people.

"I'm sorry - who are you?!?!" -
Perhaps if they all wore something yellow, so the rest of us can know who "they" are. Not racist, just, you know, to be on the safe side. You can't be too careful nowadays.
Fortunately a lot of the blighters wear towels on their heads, which helps. The women often wear scarves, kinda like our good dear Christian nuns used in the old days.... although my dear late Glaswegian great-aunt always used to wonder if papists were really proper Christians too........ One can't be too careful indeed!! -
Could the Taito Phillip Field thing just be over, sometime?
Amen to that!! Especially if he takes his mate Brian the Bish with him, ideally to somewhere very, very, very, very far away.
Destiny Church is calling for restrictions on the religious practices of non-Christian faiths.
Bishop Brian Tamaki says members of other faiths should enter New Zealand on the basis they are entering a Christian country and have to conform to certain standards. He says they cannot be regarded as equal and should be subject to restrictions.

As a point of clarification the single chart is not the same NZ Dating singles chart that Damian blogs about.
Talking of which, and reflecting on an earlier RB blog, isn't it amazing how many young men on NZD feature pics of their cars in profiles... even the gayboys are doing it now.... the times they are a changing. I wonder if it does have pulling-power?!?!

And will the RSC tickets be sold at a slight discount to compensate for the sub-par performance?

thereby turning the campus into the ok corral.
..... or in this case the not-ok corral.

So do you old guys get, like a pension or something at your age?
I hope so, it would be great to retire in 11 years time, and not the 20 I'd been expecting........

<Have you ever stood by as a senior manager painfully hunted and pecked their way through an email, and thought that the demise of the secretary, dictation, and the typing pool is a damned shame?>
And what about that most noble of extinct species - the filing clerk?!?! Anyone who can Jurrasic Park them back in to existence deserves a Nobel Prize, and will get my eternal gratitude!!
