but I was startled one day to be browsing the forums on Trade Me and discover that I was "an extreme Marxist".
Let me guess - Redbaiter was selling off his Ann Coulter memorabilia collection?

So did William Wilberforce (who comes to mind because I've got William Hague's biography on the overloaded bedside table), and he managed to avoid being a crass turd while fighting the long, hard and uncertain battle for abolition of the slave trade in England.
More to the point, would he have managed if he'd had his own BigWillyWilberforce.blogspot.com?

thanks to "blog producer" Bryan Spondre, of having more civil and thoughtful comments than the actual posts).
I have to say, that Trotter's blog musings, pretty much justifiy everything the wingnuts have ever said about him.

some cushy cell with underfloor heating and widescreen television.
I wish some of these people would go see a prison & get some reality check that they aren't holiday camps.
BTW - I worked for Corrections for years & the underfloor heating (pretty much hot water pipes sunk in concrete for the most part) is standard in correctional facilities - crims make weapons out of any fittings they can get their hands on.

So Palin supports efforts to counteract the Earth's natural climate changes?
Well why not, if it turns out that change poses a threat to us. I've long thouight that the only relevant questions about climate change are:
Is it happening?
Is it bad?
Can we do anything about it?Apportioning blame seems counter productive to me, the answer to question 3 would address that anyway.
