Guess it's easier to charge the girlfriend eh?

most people probably thought that it was nothing to do with them
Yep easier to walk away. I often get into trouble over my "big mouth" when trying to defend others. Even been knocked sideways for standing up for a stranger being attacked in public. It will never stop me trying though. I am reminded of a friend who witnessed an elderly man making good use of his walking stick as a weapon against a woman he was sitting next to at the Airport. She shoved him, public ran over to him to make sure he was ok, left the injured woman sitting nursing herself. My friend, seeing the whole thing, went over to the woman to enquire if she needed help, she replied it was her father and he had done it to her all her life so far. I guess she finally had enough and pushed back.

Surely if the allegations cannot be tested in court it means that Veitch cannot defend them, and as such they shouldn't become public?
Yeah, it really should be innocent until proven otherwise. The court of public opinion has shown many here time and time again to be faulty. Maybe documents like these should be destroyed if not used.

Yes, my view of the hypocrisy element relates wholly to her and her organisation's rhetoric in the media over the past few years, rather than the Families Commission job. I just think she'd be crap at that.
Exactly. I think she made herself public a long time ago. I didn't like her then ,don't like her now, because I think she was no good at her last job, and hasn't displayed any expertise to me for this new one.jus' sayin'

After a while I looked up to find quite a few of the lambs back with their mothers. So I followed the next lamb out of the race around the corner af the fence/hedge. There was the single free range farm pig ushering the lambs through a hole in the hedge and back to Mum. The pig was grinning I swear.
What a lovely story, and on that note I'm off to Halletau for lunch to have some fish :)

Slightly off topic but NZ Deer Leather is now in very high demand with the big European luxury fashion houses - apparently we have one of the highest numbers of farmed deer in the world
Many years back I was sewing it for the NZ market so we may have been the trend setter.
