  • Island Life: Take A Chance on Me,

I completely missed out a surprising swathe of pop music growing up, including Abba. Seriously, the first time that I can recall hearing any Abba songs is when I was at university in the mid 90s. Everyone was going "Oh, I really love this song" in the tones of someone confessing a guilty secret, and I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about.

Actually, what I'd really like to see is an entry in the "zombies as infected" genre which covers people recovering from the zombie illness. Like, in "28 Months Later", it's revealed that about six months after becoming infected people recover .... and then try to get about their lives despite memories of running around tearing people's throats out with their teeth. It'd be great.

  • Cracker: Of Tweets and Twats,

The thing with the Eskimos is... 'interesting'

Plus, you can still buy Eskimo Pies in North America. Let them sort their own house first, eh?

(Yes, I know Canada != America, but c'mon, it's close enough in this case)

    Steve - you're thinking of http://www.tvgohome.com/.

Anyone can have a tattoo with "real blood". Personally, I use "real ink" for all of mine.

Mind you, I've clearly gone the wrong way about this - I've used a picture of my shoulder as my avatar, rather than getting a tattoo of my avatar on my shoulder.

You could argue that, given their career, it's just advertising. Hell, they're probably deducting the removed clothes as a business expense.

  • Cracker: Of Tweets and Twats,

This may be the wrong time to admit that I use the word "motherfucker" as a casual greeting. But yeah, mainly to people I know well.

One of my happiest moments during a work performance review was when my manager said to me - and I quote directly - "The goal "improve professional attitude in the office" just means stop swearing so fucking much, it's annoying the Americans."

Those rappers are silly aren't they. If only they could express themselves.

Given that the band namechecked earlier was NWA, I'm going to assume that this is a deliberately ironic comment.

  • Busytown: A wee development,

Very odd; were the pictures shot on location, or is it cut and paste? And what does it mean?

I'd guess that it was either designed by someone here (possible), or that someone designed the packaging by rummaging through Flickr for clip-art (more likely IMHO).

Certainly, I've seen those scooters here on the mean streets of Wellington.

So one for #1 and two for #2?

Yup. The jellybeans only become liquid after we hand them over.
