She's done both!
Ah, but with all due respect to his wife and four kids, he may feel like he's done both. :) Plus as I said earlier, only a Surgeon would find the stones cute and not the Rollings Stones, he's more of the Bowie, Pink Floyd type (hey, is this the wrong thread?)

mean chutney.
I'll take mean to mean good.
Forgot to mention, My friend (the laparoscopic Surgeon) said stones are nothing compared to child birth :) and this person is a man. -
oops, palate :)

I made tamarillo chutney yesterday,
I made a second batch Saturday (promised Jackie Clark) but also added sultanas and will use similar recipe changing fruits according to season. I figured it should work for fruit or veg with less sugar.
Glad it was acceptable to your palette. -
The kicker is that it's nigh-on impossible to go back afterwards and apologise for your behaviour.
I don't think so. I popped in to floor 8 at Ak Hospital and from there visited all those who took care of me and thanked everyone I found. If you explain your purpose for your visit, someone will help you to get around the place.
Also, as an aside, I was chatting to a friend of mine this morn and he was just popping off to do a few ops.
His regular work is gall and kidney stones. He's got a hospital. He agreed that Russell would have had laparoscopic surgery to remove said kidney stones.he said they sort of pulverise them often making them small enough to pass or if not they just remove them. He said gall stones are very common. When I asked what they do with them (due to a previous query further upthread) he said his hospital gives them to the patient. Apparently(his words) they can be quite cute, and the ones that look like pyramids were really cute. Go figure. I did say to him that only a surgeon would think like this. :) -
And aren't our public hospitals just the best when you need them the most?
Yes, the thing is when you need them the most ,the staff seem very good at putting you on the top of the list, which makes me wonder about those who complain about being on a waiting list, but that is not to invite debate., I just absolutely agree with you Jackie . :)

I ended up in a police holding cell after a drinking binge. The best analogy of the environment there, is an old style public toilet. If prison is anything like that, I'll rest my case.
Ok, I suspect a public toilet could be good or bad, depending on where you have come from, but also prison (again depending on which one ends up in) can be relatively comfortable for a cell. I have not been to jail but I have visited a few and Pare does give an appropriate welcome should you find yourself visiting there. It does give one a sense of the secureness of the place and one I happily have not had to go back to. Sadly, I cant remember who it was that I visited, but one wont forget the place so easily. The Rangipos (all 3) and Hautu are fairly similar. I would liken them to Camp Adair (at least the one I went to in standard 4) Rows of units in a basic u formation all facing inward with a courtyard and buildings attached for kitchen, library and other such extras as the screws and of course the ever needed visiting room. The Mount is, well the Mount and it can only be the beast it is. Visiting there is almost rancid, but the wardens are friendly. Actually so are the wardens at the Rangipos.:)
Whilst I am warming to the idea of containers ( albeit dampening my other ideas for them) I do think down the line in winter on the dessert road will be a good test for whether they are humane or not because insulation is going to be interesting, and because, that is where we have lots of prison land. -
<quote> he definitely wasnt an asexual-
cheers - Islander, who is</quote.
Right, well that's sorted then :) -
There's a very fun remix of 'I Want You Back' by Konishi Yasuharu of Pizzicato Five at the end of this post.
Wasn't that a nice bit of writing followed by some interesting positive comments. Thanks Danielle. It was nice to see back up to a discussion last night about brilliance = weird and the asexual comment. I might just go and play Pizzicato Five, Made in USA. :)
