Is it true that we can sheet this home to Jim Anderton
I know he had a personal interest in the subject and a google search shows that is a constant meme that he drove it, I just can't find the proof
Certainly as a policy it has not helped -
Hard News: The Letter, in reply to
Well Mr Cunliffe says in the letter Mr Lui approached him which to most people would imply that he did meet him
So once again tricky or a liar, take your pick -
While there has been some spin from the usual left wing suspects along the "Yes but" your last line says it all
One PR disaster after another from Cunliffe is leading the floating voters who change Goverments in this country to think that we are not ready for a left leaning government yet -
Don,t you love a puzzle
Presently Parsons Priests etc are banned from being JPs, I presume this has always been the practise
The people on Trademe will run this down, they really are very good at this
And yes Hurrah for the DPB -
Russell the old joke about statistics and dam lies applies here
It would be nice if you put the different countries numbers per million
Because if they are as stated you do have a powerful argument for more liberal laws -
I have to say I am disappointed in the Mayors role in this
She has a furiously keen mind and has the skill set to get things done
But so far not much has changed, ok it is early days but she must have known the problems Christchurch faced, she was vocal enough .
She has control of the Council so let us see some action and less duck shoving
If anybody can make Chistchurch a better place to live in it is her and her Council -
I think it is great that Kelvin Davis will get into Parliment on Jones's retirement, what I would like to know why did the Labour grandees put him so far down the list
And what is this going to do to Hone's and Dotcom chances
We live in interesting times eh -
Isn't Google great, in Australia they have Puftaloons which are fried scones
In Scotland they have fried potato scones which sound really niceI will definitely have a go at these unfortunately I am stuck in a winemakers house in Cromwell at the moment, the Korean BBQ made by a Japanese assistant was great but the fried scones will have to wait till I get home

There is a long line of men being able to cook in our family despite some prize winning bakers on the female side
I have always wondered about the dish called " pooftas " not sure how you would spell it but that is how it was pronounced
These were fried scones which my Grandfather made for his wife's breakfast
Love to know the origin of these, the scotch grannies or the Portugese whaler but they taste great, split with golden syrup, on the full breakfast plate -

Mine said Kiwi because it apparently was not nice to eat while Pukeko is good and legal in season
