Amen to that. I was cheered by Pansy Wong's short-lived "Pansy's Pansies" for just that reason. It's a shame the idea was kind of shut down.
I'm reminded of this doco that showed @ the Film Fests about 3-5 years back.

Craig, Stephen J: you're right, Rev Capill is in a class of his own with the kiddy-fiddling case. The point was, he's the most obvious example of pontificating about "family values", who then proceeds to be hoist on his own petard.

I always suspected McAuley's death was suicide from the very beginning, given her wealth.
On the one hand, the papers are cynically running headlines to deliver maximum returns to their shareholders, and damning the torpedoes. On the other hand, philandering on its own doesn't destroy reputations in NZ, but philandering mixed with hypocrisy does. Graham Capill, anybody?

I think a lot of Aucklanders would accept that South Auckland has its share of problems. But Melissa's comments hint at unattractively old school, is-what-it-is, us and them attitude to social development. You need to build a big wall, see.

Ie, Too Bourgeois To Bus, or Too Vain To Take The Train. Then again, would there be a market for an Orient Express-type service?
