I have a long standing refusal to believe that "gubernatorial" could possibly be a real word.

Many foul words have been directed at Ms Tolley from this household lately.
I have a kid who absolutely will not do stuff like writing unless he can see a purpose to it (and getting better at writing is not a purpose for writing thank you very much) so, for him and probably many other kids, subjects like science are the way to teach him literacy and numeracy skills.

Graphing sexuality is also complicated by the fact that drive in particular, and any other axis you can name to some extent, are subject to change with time, circumstance and experience.

Words like 'feminine' and 'kinky' can carry some very heavy negative connotations, but we don't really have anything sufficient to replace them with.
Oh yeah. I struggled with my wording above for ages and, in the end, had to rely on the intelligence and good-will of PAS readers to understand my view without taking undue offence.

I've got a sort of half-formed thought here that straight people who feel an attraction for gay or bi people may actually be expressing a small amount of latent bisexuality themselves in a way that feels safe to them. So for a woman who is not quite bi enough to seek out a relationship with another woman might find a guy who is a little towards the feminine end of the spectrum might be just the ticket.

I've read that article several times over now and I still can't distinguish any sort of point to it.

Restricted to 16 and over? Not that disturbing, is it? And none restricted since 1990 so presumably those published since have sailed straight through.
Lots of people need that information before they are sixteen regardless of the letter of the law and everyone should have that information before they actually need it so, yes it is disturbing

Disturbing to see books about birth control, pregnancy and childbirth restricted.

After the third time all the entrees start to look the same though.
That's why you skip a year or two :-)

I still haven't gotten over WoW moving away from Nelson. In large part because (due to my parents being there) it was feasible to go at least every 2-3 years.
