Cheese puffs are neither cheese rolls or cheese scones but things that have a sort of pastry look to them
I didn't like cheese as a kid (well over that now) so can't comment on the taste
Here is a recipe though
http://www.foodlovers.co.nz/recipes/display.php?id=59&print=1Wine, at the moment some very well known wines are being sold as either "clean skins" or under "house brand " names
Not in a position to reveal those but the down side of finding a (cheap) wine you like is that it may not be around with that name next year...enjoyOk, back to the fermenter emptying

Hilary and Sofie
A couple of points on Helen's tribute time and the mean National digs
Might I remind you of her behaviour when Don Brash made his last speech, disgraceful and ungracious
Two wrongs don't make a right but lets not make a mole hill into a mountain
And how history may judge her, two words
Winston Peters
Which I admit was an uncharacteristic slip but really came across as someone who would do almost anything to cling to power

So what are the PA thoughts on the Maori seats
Good, bad or mad
Just interested forn a southern point of view -
That is soooo funny
And isn't it nice that PA has managed so well to avoid the obvious pit falls........obvious when codified of course -
Good on Helen, bit of a feeling she has been aiming at this for a while and lets hope (beyond hope actually) that she can knock some sense into the organisation

Well I hope we all did realise that despite the hype the Prez was not going to be able to walk on water
We didn't we....
Unfortunatly I notice the left are not quite as ready to cut Key any slack
NZ really just has to ride this out, there is not much we can do till the big boys put their houses back in order except borrow and spend on things that might give us an edge when the world comes back to us for the things we can provide -
Nice comment TomS
The poor old greens were really in a bind on commenting on the Sanlu executions
On one hand they are always whinning about food purity while on the other hand here is someone (a loverly left wing government) dealing to the bad guys by executionDouble bind really

An iteresting idea Grame and worth serious thought, just how much scope do you think we should give Grand Juries
Just called for infringements with a political background or rather a potential tricky political problemsI am also interested in your thoughts on Depositions
At the moment they seem to be mostly used as a fishing expedition by the defence and seldom is there a verdict of "no case to answer"
and just add to Court time. -
Oh do trust me Isabel, I treat flounders with respect (sort of how I treat people)
Only these end up on my plate -
A fresh run flounder takes alot of beating and not quite as much eating a a giant brill
Happy memories of setting a net as we went out whitebaiting on the Waitaki 30 years ago with my Dad, if you didn't get one maybe you some of the otherI live in Waimate Islander but my parents were both born in Oamaru so I have dual citizenship. I am sure if we compared family trees we would have common links
