The vitriol towards the National Government in this thread is palpable...surely we don't believe that they intentionally want to destroy NZ's economy? Whether or not you agree with their policies on anything, they must genuinely believe what they are doing is right for the country.

I loved that we never looked like losing last night. Just complete control.
God, is there a better defender in open play than Conrad Smith? He goes low, and gets his man every time….unbelievable.
Also: if Kaino doesn’t get player of the tournament I will be very disappointed. The man is a colossus.

It's almost a shame we played France in pool play .... to meet them in the final for the first time since that night would be tres excitement.
Now we mustn't get complacent.

Best thing to come from the DC injury (straw clutching here): it's removed all the bold predictions of a certain All Blacks WC victory...which is almost a guarantee of calamity.
I'd also go for Piri at 1st 5. But he's also the best halfback. So can we have two of the little tubster please?
