This was a car that I loved for a time. A 1952 Austin Sommerset. Photo is from 1987, I wanted to capture the beautiful lines and general bulbousness. -
I love the immediacy of downloads (legal), cos I can hear or think of a track I want and get it there and then. Latest and top of my pops is Left By Soft by David Kilgour. Layers of yummy guitars.

Any one remember the espresso machine in the c afe down Chancery Arcade? Don't remember the coffee as being anything fantastic. But is was a strange looking machine to a kid from Hoon Hay.

Best gig would have to be The Phoenix at the Bedford. They take music somewhere else. And the best drummer award!
Ron Meuck was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting to react so strongly to it. Someone said there is a lot more space than the Melbourne show, which probably helped. -

Can't help thinking we missed out on democracy here in Chch. Partly cos of the quake , but mainly because Bob opted out and wouldn't paticipate.
