  • Up Front: Just Answer the Question,

    Good points all, Joanna.

What if the meat starts to rot over the course of the weeks, and you end up wasting the most tasty person of all because you have to throw it away?

Well, I was going to pack 'em in snow, or hang them in the fuselage to age nicely.

then a richly wine-marinated hotpot of winstone

Obligingly, I believe Winston's been self-marinating from the inside for years now.

Labour's ads are also on Trade Me.

    What's the reserve? Any bids?

  • Up Front: Just Answer the Question,

Not that I want to spoil anyone's fun (mostly mine) so keep answering this and any of the other questions. Otherwise I shall have to go back to working.

But FletcherB wins. Not only is it America's Cup Lawyer Racing, but in the true spirit of the season, he betrayed his own beliefs to deliver the populist answer. Well done that man.

Points to Haydn too for his hilarious ironic post-modern anti-Semitism.

  • Up Front: Just Answer the Question,

Geez, what have you guys got against petrol-heads? Or is it just the Tron that you hate?

7: The Amazing Race. After 13 seasons, it's just not that amazing.

Oo, Jake, nearly made me change my mind there. But no.

Any idea where the tolerence bill boards are?

All the ones I've seen are tolerance.

We drove down to Ashburton on Thursday and passed about four of them. They were like little yellow punches to the face. I haven't seen any of the misspelled ones in town.

  • Hard News: Rationalisation is at hand!,

So many arguments for a quick intelligence/current affairs test before you are allowed to vote.

I've just read a long blog post from a friend where she analysed both candidates based on her criteria. In conclusion, McCain looks like a chipmonk, and Obama's ears and teeth are too big, ergo she won't be voting.

    Avoid America.

    Done.

The worst pasting I ever took for having bare feet was from an American woman, she was genuinely deeply disgusted. I try to be calm and adamant, but y'know... I'll be flying a few times in the next few months, and I probably will chicken out and just wear shoes to avoid the hassle.

  • Up Front: Not Actually Blue at All,

Did you see the documentary Titless Wonders, Emma?

Yeah, I did, it was lovely. Breast cancer runs rampant in the female line of my family. I lost a cousin to it when I was little, and both my mother and aunt have had lumps removed. The prospect has always scared me more than a little. But these tattoos, they're like taking control back over your own body.

There's a picture somewhere, I can't remember if it's on that site or not, of a woman who's had a reconstruction done, then covered the reconstructed breast in a cherry blossom tattoo. That's my plan now.

  • Up Front: Not Actually Blue at All,

I was informed that the central nerves area is friggin painful so Emma you may want to try the stomach.

Heh, I gained twenty kilos when I was pregnant. Unless I'm tattooing a ploughed field, on my stomach is right out.

Though I am blown away by this scar tattooing. The lizard over the mastectomy scar is very cool.
