But then I work with academics, for most of whom typing involves fingers doing chicken impressions.
As a Joanna-style typist, what scares me is the speed at which programmer friends of mine can type using just two fingers.

Shame you couldn't find a clip of the best ironic foreshadowing ever: "That's me as a vampire? I mean, I'm so evil, and skanky — and I think I'm kind of gay." Well, as Meatloaf sez two out of three ain't bad.
There's a ton of foreshadowing for Gay Xander too - Joss hadn't made up his mind which one was going which way before about season 4.
Joanna, for shame! Girls don't read porn!

Leather on Willow?
Mmmm, evil Willow...
But yes, whether it's *thwack* or *squeak squeak* is open to interpretation.

(excerpted from Their Views
Just last night, I read a Guardian piece about Carol Thatcher calling 'an unspecified tennis player' a golliwog. By the time I got to the comments thread, about one comment in three had been deleted by the moderator.
The Guardian! Honestly, if we can't count on the last bastion of uptight leftism to be responsibly emotionally retarded, what's the world coming to?

Look, I don't even know why we're bothering to debate this. It's a theory of relativity. It's just a theory: somebody's 'best guess'. E might be mc^2, or it might be a banana, they just don't know. And yet we allow this 'theory' to be taught in schools as if it's fact, and we make an unquestionable religion out of science. This is hugely offensive to People of Faith.
Those looking for real certainty should turn to the only real source of knowledge: the Bible. Only there can you find real certainty, real answers to what E really is. For does not Proverbs 3:5 state "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not to thine own understanding."
It's too late to save Einstein's poor atheist soul from burning in the not-at-all-relative fires of Hell, but won't somebody THINK OF THE CHILDREN?

No, I have a problem with her using a really significant number of elements from that novel, but not acknowledging said use.
That does sound like a perfectly genuined reasoned criticism. We're still allowed to do that, right?
I feel that Your Views thread is indulging in some serious Mission Creep.

1. Jane Campion should be ashamed of herself.
Eh. I am 'the person who hated The Piano'. So much I may have already mentioned it a couple of times. But then I don't understand why Wuthering Heights is supposed to be a romance either.

But did you mourn the missed opportunity to dust off the fake man-boobs and chest toupee? That's the mark of a real nerd!:)
That'd be soooo cool. Then every time you walked into a room everyone could drop to their knees and yell your name.
Loved the review, Craig.

Not to veer teh conversation away from romance novels, it looks like the game yesterday was a cracker:
Yeah, it was. The Aussies ended up needing six off the last ball - a familiar-sounding scenario.
I'm almost but not quite more excited about Friday's game than I am about Friday's other game.

Just like teh Aussie menz?
Now I'm curious. What about that process is puzzling him so much? Or is that just his normal facial expression?
I did make a remark on Sunday about how the closest thing you could get on telly to a woman playing cricket was Nathan Bracken and his Alice band, but it was unnecessarily snarky, so I shan't repeat it.

...the inklings of a sequel to last weeks post perhaps?
Quite possibly, depending on the Knowledge.
Or I might just have decided to start experimenting on y'all.
