Shades of that Italo Calvino short story about the telephone network comming alive and connecting people based on what they say in private conversations.
I seem to have missed that one. Any chance that you recall the title, or what collection it's from?

Any more than 20km without padded cycle shorts does get a wee bit uncomfortable ...
Off topic I know, but if you're prepared to ride with handlebars around 3" higher than the seat, while sitting on one of these (also known as Cheeko 90), you'll feel no pain, guaranteed. Saved my sorry aged ass.

In fact there's a reason for preferring smaller breasts right there: they make the writing less bumpy.
If the shirt says sOuthern cOmfort then you're probably expected to stare.

Allow me to point out that the idea that "all men prefer large breasts" is, in fact, a myth -- or a combination of myth and widely held assumption.

My further respect.
Kewl, I'll, uh, pass it on. Like next time the Jehovah's show, as they're wont to do in these parts, I'll tell them how, while I wouldn't still be on deck but for a blood transfusion, I admire their pacifist stand in WW2. They always look so grateful as they toddle off in search of more promising victims, poor buggers.

. . . does that say more about The National Party, National Party supporters, or his parents?
As the National Party was founded in 1936, kind of late for great-grandfatherly stuff, I'm guessing the parents. What do I win?

. . . the intolerance of heretical dissent by the true believers.
There's always been an element of the death cult among the more jingoistic proponents of the ANZAC tradition. I do wonder why those who are exercising themselves over white poppies aren't protesting the sneaky commercialisation of the occasion, such as the red poppy currently adorning my bank's website.

We should bear in mind that "do not commit adultery" is not exactly convenient to the Selfish Generation (remember "if it feels good, do it"?), and they are the ones in power and so in control of the media agenda in our day.
Oh sure they are. But hey, all the best, right?
