Printouts or certificates may not have accurate information. I saw recently the birth printout of a friend's great grandfather; it had his parent's' names, and date and place of marriage. I have been unable to find any trace of the parents named, or of any marriage for them. The birth was registered almost 3 months after the event by a person who presented written authorisation from the "mother".

"There's a lot of Daves... might have to cull the list a bit to narrow it down?"
Nicely done.

Is that the famous "south of the Bombays" syndrome we hear whispers of?

Interesting listening to the outrage from the far end of the country. The ODT managed a short column, on page 4 I think, about Len Brown.

And, as I forgot to add earlier, you will need a water tank of some sort, to store your preheated water. A lot of solar units use a 300l tank. You may also need a tempering valve on the output of the whole setup - normally a gas unit doesn't need this, as it is limited to a maximum output of 50 degrees C.
Something else to be borne in mind is the need to keep the stored water above 65 degrees C, to inhibit the growth of legionella. This may mean installing a booster electric element.

Yes, you can. But you need to ensure the gas unit has a heat tolerant input. Some don't.

When my kids were at school, I was able to assess how they were achieving by observation. I didn't need newspapers or league tables to do this.
They went to our neighbourhood schools, the primary school a block away, and the college a 5 minute walk.
Where does this anxiety about performance come from? Who is going to benefit from it?
I don't see the "average citizen" gaining anything from the navel gazing newspapers are indulging in. Perhaps we should just ignore it? -
Pictures from the Ngaruawahia festival (Badly stored negatives, which I didn't leave long enough in the developer).

Hard News: Friday Music: When there were…, in reply to
A bunch of us drove up from Dunedin to the Ngaruawahia festival in a friend's clapped out Austin van. Two of us drove back down in an even more run down Vanguard, which was made up from at least 2 wrecked cars. Great days.
