I was called up at university, but it was a week that I either had a load of exams or a thesis due (I forget), but either way, it was a straight forward process to withdraw from the process weeks before.

A white Christmas in Oxford then back to work. Cold as hell as well, but that goes with winter and snow right? London seems to have coped a bit better with the snow this year, although it seems Scotland not so much.
I think the problem is that I am still anchored in NZ so I keep hearing about the sun and heat at the wrong time of year for the UK.

Well I'd like to think that the little Dutch boy who saved Holland by plugging the leaky dyke is both an allegory for the Holy Roman Empire's spider like control over the Royal families of Europe and also an engagement ring

Well I certainly haven't heard her deny that she is the puppet of the Eurocrats and for something this important I would have thought she would have at least tried. Her silence is damming

HORansome - I suggest you look to incorporate the North American Union into your theory. I remember reading a website a year or so back where one of the NAU/Amero/Unification Highway types was certain it was some sort of plot by the Royal Family, by way of the Commonwealth members in the Western Hemisphere, to regain control over the USA.
Kate's family have a mail order business. Mail travels on roads. The NAU wants a unification highway etc

Well that certainly answers that question Carol. The internet really does have answers for most questions

So where does one buy bunting these days, if I'm to bunt the local street?
