koshien? or professional?

why didn't Vettori declare when McCullum went out?
one of those NZ bowlers could get hurt out there!
(all for the sake of a couple of runs?) -
and just before tea, too!
well done the man from Otago(i hate to rain on this parade, but if NZ can put on 600-odd, how easy will it be to bowl out India once? twice? ouch)

re: Ichiro, i am glad you cleared that up for me, because i have been too lazy to look at any MSM sports news to find out what happened. i walked past a pub the other day at lunchtime during the final and there seemed to be a lot of cheering and gasping going on...
and glancing at various headlines on the train in the last day or two suggested that Ichiro had done something quite good. but now i know. thanks. saved me from having to look through news.google.co.jpjust to bore you a bit more about Ichiro, i used to watch baseball on TV a bit (up until a couple of years ago) and for years i used to say to people that i wish he would hurry up and ditch this baseball hobby and become a proper batsman. his ability to see the ball early and his hand-eye co-ordination is so good, he does not look at all like any other baseball player i have ever seen. he looks like a Crowe or a Gower or a Lara, except with a funny round bat sticking up in the air. He would be a natural. Quick, someone tell Lalit Modi to buy Ichiro off the Mariners!
And, BTW, well done Ryder, Taylor (and Franklin) and hopefully another ton from McCullum!

@Sacha:
unitl recently, it was generally assumed that unless you were one of the major record companies, iTunes wouldn't deal with you directly. so companies referred to as "aggregators" got accreditation to become suppliers to iTunes, and if a small label wanted to sell on iTunes they needed to be represented by an iTunes-accredited aggregator. and usually pay a 20% cut of retail. apparently, with more local iTunes stores opening up in the last year or three, it is not as hard as before to go direct to iTunes. Russell provided the example of Fat Freddy's Drop.
obviously, the role of the aggregator is quite different from the old physical distributor model, though. one of their main roles is the legal side of digital distribution. another is managing payments, etc.

@3410:
cheers!

@3410:
is there anywhere else to view that Revolution out-take video?
it's been taken down by ewe-chooob/EMI... -
Unless you're a digital retailer or have direct knowledge of an item you presented for retail that got turned down then maybe you should sit this one out.
ooh, so asking a question deemed by you to be inappropriate, means i "should sit this one out"?
YES, SIR!
THREE BAGS FULL, SIR! -
1b. Even if the balance standard did apply, the coverage was balanced - they presented both sides - those who thought it noteworthy, and those who thought it offensive. Everyone got their say, and people watching could make their own mind up (which is what the balance standard is aimed at)
so broadcasting sexist, insulting, ridicule is ok as long as you have a panel on hand in which some are in favour of and some are opposed to the public humiliation of an interviewee based on their appearance but not the news-related interview?

The split hasn't really changed but the investment for distributor and retailer has.
and the investment for artist/small label hasn't?
am i correct in assuming the artist/small label is getting a similar percentage return per album, with no physical cd manufacturing/shipping costs on the sale, but the potential market access has been multiplied by millions of times compared with record shops?
and that is not good for the artist/small label?do itunes turn down anything? Surely they don't stock every home recorded cdr some deluded bedroom rock star makes?
hello? do you know what an aggregator does?
