I can only think of two who are still revered in some way: Sir Edmund Hillary and Sir Peter Blake.
He's right - the others are just old guys who used to play sport, and few under 30 will ever have heard of themJack Lovelock and Buck Shelford might be contenders. But the others... Hadlee and Meads especially have almost gone out of their way to un-deify themselves.

The Preppie
Don't. Just don't. This hasn't worked for anyone since Matthew Broderick.
By this you don't mean the "sweater over the shoulder" look that many hip-hop artists have been rockin recently? And looking quite nice too I might add (a Prada pullover is on my to-buy when I'm rich list).

Surely the advantage of our modern world is that you can get up at 7am, ignore the outside world for about two hours, and watch it delayed having recorded it off the internet (or whatever).
Maybe there is something nice about inconvenience.
With this new season of Lost my partner and I have declined downloading the latest episode and are watching it the "old" way. It's an interesting experience, having to be somewhere with a TV at a certain time on a certain day.

Cheeky! However, each issue does contain a number of photos of the staff. I think this month there's four or five. -
As a professional writer, it should only take a few seconds to sort out the difference between "its" and "it's".
NEVER!
I work in the public sector and use Chrome shhhhh...
I used to use Firefox with a bunch of nifty extensions. It lead to questions of how I could view pages that others in the office couldn't.

Seems wrong that the rules punish them for that.
He's the one playing for the massive salary. Why not take a pay cut for a few years to help that team the "made him" and then go for the big contract after that.
And fuck the "I developed thisplayer so I should have him" idea. It's a gamble right now, but one htat must be working because the teams are still paying to do it. Otherwise there would a smart team out there not developing players and investing that money into recruiting good ones.

they're preventing players from making money outside of playing a game of rugby league - e.g. sponsorship, endorsements etc.
I don't think that's true. For example Sonny Bill Williams used to have a deal with Nike.

We went to a party at the Flatmates house. We were students at the time and knew one of the tenant and if I recall the invite went along the lines of: "...somethingsomethingsomething free beer from the TV people!"
