They have a flyer warning of Stendhal Syndrome, and I really understood what they meant
Wow.
<envy>! -
Awesome captures, Jackson! I'm particularly intrigued by your shot of the cages/skateboarder/advertising shoot.
The other weekend I walked past a photo-shoot on Sumner beach, with a scantily-clad model disporting herself in the freezing-cold wind. She deserved whatever she got paid, not just for freezing to death, but also for doing her job while half of Chch sauntered past eating icecreams and walking their dogs. I wanted to take a picture, but it would have felt mean!

Anyone who’d like to post a supportive message on this article, you might make a difference. This lady went public with her housing plight and she’s getting a torrent of shitty comments.
She and her kids lived next door to a murderer who hid the bodies of his victims under her floor. Then the house was burnt down in an arson attack along with all the family’s possessions. They moved into another place, and that house was wrecked in the Feb earthquake. Now they’re being forced to leave their current home and have nowhere to go.
How people can make nasty comments about this woman beggars belief, but they are, in great numbers.

"I love Whoopie" would be the first t-shirt I'd be getting printed up.
And they don't need to compose a jingle...

Just want to have a quick rave about the Opawa-St Martins Farmer’s Market, Sundays 9am-12noon, get there early for the freshest yummiest produce, often picked that morning, and sold by the people who grew it. Save money on the fantastic fruit and veg, and then blow your savings on She chocolates, luscious pastries, freshly-squeezed juice, gourmet salads or pies. Also free range eggs, yoghurt, herbs and pesto, buckets that grow mushrooms, artisan breads, etc etc. There’s often live music too.
They’re not paying me to say this. :-) -
mercifully unsliced multigrain loaves

What is a toyoharist?
I may have made that word up! But it's someone who does a style of Japanese acupuncture called Toyohari. It's much gentler than Chinese acupuncture and a number of us with CFS have found it helpful.
