Apologies Joanna. I did wonder but I'm a bit jumpy as I'm in the middle of learning how to parent a 14-year-old. You start to see all sorts of scenarios that can frighten you.

Bad plan Joanna. You're lying to your kids either way and that won't work as long-term strategy. That aside, could be great fun to get back at the little b*stards with some psychological torture of your own.

Yeah, sorry, but fourthed. We wondered about trying to use some software system to keep the kids safe on the internet but straight old parental advice is the best way. They'll either try it or they won't, just like the dreaded drugs and alcohol.
Excuse nosiness Russell but how much for Kermadec? I would always rather pay more for something really good than a medium amount for a medium meal.

Awwwww, Rick Astley. Still hard to believe that fab voice came out of that skinny white ginga. Made me go all nostalgic gooey for nightclubs in London, shoulder pads (for the boys), Frankie Going to Holly, etc. etc. Listening to ABC loud on the speakers while I sat on my teeny balcony and watched Princess Di drive out of the gates at Kensington Palace. Sorry . . .

Rattue is mad or having a joke on all of us. The only mistake the ABs made at the World Cup was letting Wayne Barnes referee the game. Inept and possibly corrupt.

I can't decide whether he really believes what he is writing or whether he just does it for fun to wind everyone up. His own little joke. I hope it's the latter.

Chris Rattue is back in NZ Herald this morning! And Robbie Deans is easily best coach of the year!!! No mention of the loss to Wales in the weekend. He's STILL very bitter about the loss at the World Cup.

Where has Chris Rattue gone? Has the Herald pulled him because he was getting too bitter and twisted? Or is he waiting for G Henry to lose before he makes a return to print? Pity about the "world's best coach" and his team losing to Wales (how many times have they beaten NZ in the last century?).
