Worth noting that NZ on Air helps with funds for Attitude TV - 11am on Sundays on TV1 and on Demand
plus they have a website with many more stories and information. -
Of course you won't get this level of grandiose public infrastructure with light rail...

I do so hope the footpath outside The British is still pockmarked with heavy British motorcycle stand impressions…
Mark – you’d have to reprise ’The Passenger’ obviously!
and a slide show with photos of those Androidss no longer with us – which is sadly a long list – any chance London-based Mark, and Arthur could show up?
I have fond memories of you all – and also some serious blanks!
(No wonder I always got ‘youthful folly’ when I threw the I Ching…)

Speaking of Tom Scotts and Aretha Franklin…
- Stuff’s cartoonist Tom Scott has perplexed me with his ‘tribute’ to Aretha Franklin.
Why has he chosen to use Milton Glaser’s iconic 'psychedelic Bob Dylan hair' as part of his image-making?Sure Glaser did do a portrait of Aretha but it looks completely different to the Dylan image – why introduce the well known graphic shorthand for Bob Dylan into the exercise? – some lame – or lazy – ’60s reference maybe…
or oblique hat tip to John Hammond??
Weird…Stuff also did an article on NZ musicians remembrances of Aretha – yet they call Debbie Harwood – Debbie Haywood! – it took two days to get them to correct it.
Some RESPECT for the living is good too… -

Can't find any other work by Neil Vesey - but there is a Mark Vesey who studied graphic design and did Film scene painting back in the 70s who has a similar style - now resident in Australia...
puts me in mind of Phil Judd's work too - or Maryrose Crook for that matter.... -
