Well, I was one of the lucky ones at ANZAC Cove this year. Here are some of my reflections:

It's not difficult, to access US content,. No VPN/software needed, just a change in A DNS settings.
Spark/telecom/gen-i has a history of being a late follower. They have based business cases on things like Lightbox and NZ Datacentres on some pretty flawed assumptions around the disruption UFB and offshore cloud SAAS/IAAS/PAAS.
Flawed investments are not the responsibility of the consumer to cover.

I was lucky, as the son of a soldier, my primary school days had meant my classes had a mix of brown and white faces, but that changed at secondary school :(
What I am eternally grateful is being part of an organisation, Ngati Tumataenga (The NZ Army), that embraces and supports te reo Māori and tikanga Māori. We are not perfect, but I do know that it stands us apart from our allies whom we work with. It is something we all treasure and are immensely proud of.
Some background if you are not familiar with the journey the NZ Army has undergone - it doesn't happen over night - it takes decades

Is it 3 down to pedestrian crossing (Pt Chev) and 2 lights controlled crossings (city side and MOTAT side)? The graphic isn't explicit.
This is our route (including Miss 6) to Western Springs from Kingsland so some clarity would be great.

The MoE does seem to be supporting 2 story class block now, as was done recently at Reremoana School. The trouble is that the MoE is always starting the building after the spare capacity at a school is gone. This normally means libraries/resource rooms/halls/meeting rooms being taken up for temporary classes - so we have children learning in sub-optimal environments. The MoE then throws in pre-fabs (with significant cost for all the services) for 2-3 terms and then rips them out when the new blocks are built.
If someone did some cost analysis of this "crisis" build model I am sure the numbers would look terrible. Of course the challenge is that the MoE is having to balance a budget while building new classes *and* repairing the leaky classrooms across the region and the country.
No easy answers here but the short term planning from the MoE is exacerbating the problems schools face.

It was on National Radio this morning.
He was claiming (while attacking Helen Kelly) that the 90 day trial law had significantly cut the youth unemployment rate.
Based on the ratios etc., I guess it shows that the 90 day trial law has increased unemployment among adults as employers seem to prefer cheaper labour (go figure).
