Hard News: When "common sense" isn't, in reply to
And walking across the road, skateboarding, having a bath, going up the ladder cleaning the gutters?
Following that line of thought, the wearing of seatbelts on buses should be compulsory but instead, I'm allowed to not just sit down without strapping myself in, but stand up with other passengers while going down the motorway. (Freely admit that I'd actually like to be strapped in on some bus trips...)

It's hot in the summer, and musses up people's hair plus its yet another item to lug along on your commute. If you want to go for it at speed, sure, put on a helmet in case you crash. Otherwise, helmets should be optional to encourage people to go on bikes and reap the health benefits.
The problem here isn't cyclists and if you think a helmet will protect you against aggressive and careless drivers... that's just wishful thinking.

OnPoint: MSD's Leaky Servers, in reply to
Well... both you and Deborah can turn on your computers, browse the web, post comments on Public Address, etc. That's actually the level of skill required so it is fair to say it was very easy. Think of it as the polar opposite to "secure", as in "totally open".

I couldn’t do what Keith did
Oh yes you could... that's what Keith shows. It wasn't hard at all, and for Key to say otherwise is just silly.

Moa is less. Some of my best friends aspire to driving Aston Martins. Oh well. Beer's beer and Moa isn't all that. Ignored.

I get that you have the right to refuse the T&Cs, I'm just a bit puzzled as to why you would.
That's not so hard to understand, surely? If the Ts and Cs change to the point of being unacceptable to you, then is it fair that your purchase(s) are essentially made useless?

3/5 for effort. There are, not there is.
We didn't really need to know about your caramel nuts being burnt either.

Speaker: How's that three strikes thing…, in reply to
Not "downloaded". The Internet is a two-way street, people. ISPs pay other providers for capacity and utilisation of circuits, real or virtual, over a period of time. Plus, SLAs, delivery options, and a raft of other features.
If you buy a 1Gbps connection with 80, 85 or 100 per cent utilisation over a month, then that's what you want it to have to make it work as intended. Not less.
