I watch Top Gear for the asides. Clarksons are usually quite funny. Some of the cars are quite nice but they use much the same footage (cut and paste vehicle here) for most reviews. I've no dramas with opinionated presenters, agree or not they do tend to hold my interest more than the bland trying to be top gear talking heads on the AA torque (thats sooo clever) show.

Apparently Hucker-bee jumped as he was pushed by a group of councillors. His role in promoting the huge rise in water costs over the next ten years (9-10% per annum) saw him become electoral poison for the city vision ticket. He has however only resigned as leader of that particular ticket. He is still deputy mayor and no doubt will run again come the next round of local body elections.

Good to see that it still stands that anyone cant just publish any old BS they feel like and call it journalism. I recall nearly falling out of bed laughing at that line of tripe from De-borer
Thanks to all involved in keeping our checks balanced. -
Hi kids, newsflash.
David Bain's convictions have been quashed and a retrial ordered. Lucky he didn't have to rely on our 'supreme' court for justice.

This could have been a great event, but I'll claim a respectable tenth in the PA world cup. Although on reflection I'm kind of glad the super 14 started in february. Great writing all.

I also remember an egg flying out of the lower common rooms at a great rate of knots towards the bespoke suited Mr Banks.
Legend arm that. -
I particularly remember one peice written about wannabe gangsters in freemans bay, rippingly funny retort that was. If I might venture an answer to the question posed in the title of this one, no I'm not going to free you, because freedom in whatever form it takes or is realised is formed in your own mind so you're just going to have to keep on freeing yourself, doing bloody well so far, but who am I to judge?

yeah I've regularly using an indian chat site to keep up with live scores etc. They are extremely gutted, to put it mildly.

I think we pretty much performed to our potential. I think the sunshine and lollipops approach when faced with the old fashioned arse kickings we recieved from both australia and sri lanka was laughable, I'd actually like to know how straight faces were maintained. I'm disappointed in the bare faced cheating of murali not surprised though. perhaps now with ireland having a vote towards technical and rules decisions in the icc we can finally hope to get the chucker out of cricket for good, especially before he overtakes warne,(if he hasn't already) a legitimate bowling legend.
