Watched the clip from tonight and went back to check the letter that the FIA sent out with contact listed as being MEAA PDF of FIA letter sent to 3 Foot 7 in August.
FIA now has the lifting of the not-boycott listed. International Solidarity advances the cause of Performers in New Zealand. That was not there earlier this evening.

Helen Kelly likely to be a bit busy now. The unions have some arrangements to make about workers getting a fair share for that event on next year.
A recent conspiracy theory is that the country is due for some civil unrest - (1951, 1981, 2011?)

TV3 has just finished the first series of The Secret Lives of Dancers about the Royal New Zealand Ballet on tour. Now available in the TV on demand section TV3.co.nz.
Thanks for the memory jog. Lived in NSW for a couple of years. Been to French's Forest once - all can remember was the forest of houses - bit of change from Hornsby where we were one house from a National Park.
Station announcements on the trains were also interesting especially when trying to equate place-names with sounds - eg. Turramurra

I'm wondering why there seem to be no women in the running, and who might credibly stand in 2013.
The other candidates aren't getting anything like the same airtime. As to 2013, perhaps if Christine Rankin gets into Council this time, may well try for top job next time.
From the Auckland council website the possible candidates are:

Last century I did some work for Graeme Ramsay (Entomologist). He may have been more help than Gavin. Some of Graeme's work (including wetas) is mentioned at Bugz.org.nz.

Didn't they have science back then?
