Ian: shame I edited that par when I spotted the grammatical. Nice as a pome, and I do like the idea of busy Lizzies. Your band in the cactus house at the Gardens is good -- that's one of my taonga places (along with the bird gallery at the Museum with the dioramas and big stuffed things); I do hope no-one decides to "improve" it. The cactus house has has some wonderfully 60s murals of desert.
Lilith: Stunning. I find them too hard to picture usually; I will look for the big stripy grub pics. I spend a lot of time in that park.

I wonder if the monarchs will come this winter, there are a couple of trees they particularly favour.
Thinking that very think today! At the big tree I know the monarchs loop and play among the falling leaves.
