Cracker: End of Days, in reply to
Have a hankering to see some of Ron Walton's In the Nature of Things
Mate there's ONE episode of that saved in the archive, I've got a copy coming up.
Also, it appears it was Ian Fraser that interviewed David Frost, not Edwards, but that's not to say he didn't, just that the Fraser one is the only one still in the archives.
Flick me a message with any other recollections re In the Nature of Things and we'll make it happen :)

maybe oneday you'll do a Hindsight ep on public broadcasting
heh. I certainly considered it. Interestingly, there's a lot of stuff from the 60s and 70s around censorship and Govt interference with NZBC.

@Ben - you mean Hindsight, or Heartland? I assume you mean Hindsight unless you're moneyed up and looking at purchasing a channel?
No plans to make Hindsight available for purchase on DVD I don't think - realistically the market for such things make it only worth it for the big series like North, Coasters etc. However it will be repeated ad nauseum on Heartland, so it's not quite consigned to history, just the history channel :)

@Tony - not really, no - more about the development of our 'quarter acre dream' mentality, starting with the 40s housing crisis, 70s money shortage, property boom etc. Good footage though :)

Old Boys Network could very well be one of the 1300 odd acts performing at SXSW, it seems 'ironic enough' for a hipster outfit.

Indeed. Cos I reckon $300 for pushing F5 eight-hundred times is a pretty sweet deal… #lifeafterTVNZ7

How difficult would it be for an enterprising (read: time rich, money poor) writer to boost his or her page views to guarantee the three-fiddy? Or are their technological/subscription barriers in place?

Cracker: Monday Lovin' (includes FREE CD!), in reply to
You’re right, Craig
...a few points off there.

@Ben - yes it's become very trendy with the liberal media of late it seems - I saw a magazine article the other day somewhere too. Note the correct spelling if you plan on going there though, lest you end up in a thermal wonderland :)

Meh. I give Waiheke third place, after Otago and Martinborough - but my mate does a good job at Man 'O War, has to be said.
