Yeah sorry. True to form I guess. If it's any consolation, if you type the last four words of my post into google, this blog is number two.
Sorry, again.

In light of the overwhelming evidence, I no longer disagree*.
*Footnote of no particular relevance, other than to support Sacha's argument.

I disagree.
[Check please! And hurry, as I'm about to be run over by rhetoric.]

listening to them always makes my eyes fill up with tears with how good they are
I was watching WIUO videos on Facebook this morning, and being a Uke fan, they bring a tear to my eye also. We love you Raylene, whoever you are. The children were singing along. 'I got drunk, how drunk I got...'

It has. But you do still have the epithet "Moderator" under your avatar... and I guess that will have to do
We still only get 15 minutes right? Whereas the Mods get like, forever?
My 'dumb-ass' alert meter seems to go off at about 15 minutes 30 seconds. Can't we get a 'you've been a dick' extension?
Oh crap.

Sorry for changing the tone, and I sincerely apologise in advance, but this was quite a shock. It's not data, and it may not be knowledge, but it sure is heartbreaking.

Well, they've announced they're not going to nuke it, so I don't know what's next...
I'm glad they considered it though. You don't want to rule out anything, even if the potential fall-out and possible seismic event could wipe out America. You've gotta keep things in perspective.
New Reality TV show.
America's Next Top Kill Model.

Obnoxious hipster threadjack: Judah Friedlander (i.e. "Frank" from 30 Rock) who's in that DMB video played the lead in the "Eagle vs. Shark" when it was workshopped at Sundance.
And Judah appeared alongside Kevin Bacon and Cliff Curtis in the 'Film Dreamers' segment for Sundance 2005.
That's only 4 degrees of Kevin Bacon. Sundance is in Utah though, speaking of threadjacks.

We need better information, not more data. All these live feeds and infographics and live crosses just serve to defer forever the moment of synthesis and criticism.
And does nothing to stop the damn leak. The only news of any relevance, IMO, is the one that says 'yay for us, we aren't totally useless after all and managed to put a round peg in a round hole. Who knew?'

Though, to be fair, $3m of that is for two Billy Apple in situ artworks.
I can think of a lot more art (in quantity) and a lot better artists (in quality) (IMhO) than B Apple to spend $3m on. And possibly better places for it to be.
That's a whole other debate, but $3m for artistic paving seems somewhat rich. Nice work if you can get it. Would be good to see the concept, but can't find any reference to it, apart from briefly in AkCity meeting minutes.
