ROO said: One of many. Remind me again why she was considered such a business genius?
She was the one who was prepared to lie to make a living, her words remember..."we intentionally mislead the public on our offerings as a (cough) marketing strategy"
Thanks, I'll take 5.5 million severance for that and yes I understand I will never work in this town again but will not be prosecuted under the Insider Trading Law (which one?) or The Fair Trading Act.
No wonder people loved their shares. -
My view, as you know Craig (Deborah's blog) is that it's all about ad revenue from the Govt. Social Marketing Budget (really that's what it's called), and it won't be calculated as Election Spending.
Most of the dough is going to TV, buckets of it. -
...and we even get hacked!!! We are important still, really, we are.

Is that a grenade launcher in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?
</sorry, drivel alert> -
Good move, though as it is usually quite difficult to bring the narrow to the broad. We keep trying though.
I just love the sound of Te Reo, for me it's the sound of home. And when Waka Huia interviews elders who know their whakapapa, it is sublime, to me. The programme on Te Rauparaha ( as told by his great, great, great nephew, I think) was spell-binding. -
Maori TV rocks my world. There are more sub-titles going on now. Last night Marae was most intriguing and the reporter/ interviewer was superb (must get his name).
The other channels need to step up. Maori TV frequently brings tears to my eyes, even when the delivery is dead pan. The BBC on the other hand is so contrived-dead-pan that it is embarrassing. -
