And talking of reasonable prices, I was aghast at how much Slow Boat and Evil Genius wanted for their vinyl lats time I was in Wellington. RPM not so bad, it all made Real Groovy Auckland look almost reasonable. Certainly won't divert me from internet purchases in the near future.

Listening to Bill English on the radio today I was struck by the revelation that we are inexorably heading back into the maelstrom of another Muldoon administration. All this central planning and erosion of democracy doesn't seem to leave any other interpretation.

I bought the album in Sydney when I was there in 1978 only to discover that the pressings had omitted that immortal first stanza. Never discovered whether the same thing happened here - those were the days when NZ actually pressed lps locally...
