Great photos Gudrun. I took some too and have posted them on Flickr. This sign caught my attention.

Speaking of downpitched vocals - drop your vinyl of Sam Fox's Touch me (go on, you know you have it) down a good few RPM and you have the heaviest Germanic dark dark metal track.

Sorry, Sensei Sessions link should be http://www.mixcloud.com/elshaneo-grande/

I'd highly recommend a couple of RDU98.5 FM shows. The guys on The Joint have pretty eclectic & impeccable taste. Though I draw the line at A Sunny Day in Glasgow. Their tagline is "super dope selection of cosmic disco, French electro, tragic indie, hip hop, house, dub(step), nu-Krautrock, and the occasional guilty pleasure ..." Sensei Sessions with El Shaneo Grande on Saturday nights has some of the most gorgeous mixing/sampling and looping around.

Thanks for the Punk Britannia tip, been wanting to get my tiny hands on that. I loved Synth Britannia & got to see that via YouTube too. There is nowt like a splendid music doco.
Also, punk parents might like this Never Mind Your Ps and Qs Here's the Punk Alphabet by Paul McNeil and Barry Divola (here's a pic. I got mine from Dave of Galaxy Records in Christchurch. -
Kia ora, ka pai, good to see this on Capture. Here's a pic from the latest Gap Filler initiative The Music Room launched yesterday, more here.
