A ITM final between Waikato and Canterbury in Hamilton next Saturday, then.

Just back from watching Waikato beat Auckland, on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Liam Messam played like the All Black he should gave been.

Now disused but somehow we can't discard our floral iMac. But I cannot get too sentimental about Apple these days as they have become a bit of a monster--for a brief period a couple of weeks back, they passed Eron as the world's richest company.
I do pine for my Mac at work, replaced recently by a cod PC (our faculty arguing that they can't continue to support Macs). Still can't figure why you have to press three tabs to start the bastard. The best joke at the Edinburgh festival this year; "I had to choose a password with 8 characters, so I chose Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs".

I agree. That Lion's game was one of the best games ever. If you need a place to stay, just bung me a line.

This is my personal minor earthquake - that a columnist I admire could sympathise with a book written by Ian Wishart and which is pretty obviously biased. Maybe it's a Christian thing.
Yes, I was rather astounded by this too. She wrote that she did not 'know' Wishart; surely she must know about him and his inflammatory ideas?

Golf? My pet theory is that the smaller the ball, the sillier the sport. Golf is marginally above marbles.

Why, thank you Lilith.

I wanted to add the great Tom Waits/Cookie Monster mashup "God's Away On Business" but this dumb new computer won't let me do it (they have taken away my Mac and shifted me to a PC . Wah!!).
Or maybe it is the dumb operator! -

I'm still thinking about the logistics of naked swimming competitions.
So am I, now that you have raised the proposition. What particular stroke might be advantaged--the butterfly, perhaps? The drag factor too--do we need to consider some sort of grid starting position?
