Wellingon Police dipping their toes in Aukland Water?
I think you're very cold there. -
That we allow Police to use force & even kill is a cultural construct. That no crime has been committed due to the lack of intent is a cultural construct. It is pretty clear that American shooting is a murder, by our shared cultural construct.
We simply pick and choose as fits our culture at the time.

"deliberately killed" = cultural construct

I can see Brickley Paistes point. As this wasn't deemed a crime at all.
" A police chase left an innocent teenage father dead and a city stunned. Naitoko, 17, was killed by a shot fired by a police marksman."

It is interesting the different cultural constructs we have create that allow us to kill.

Joe - I felt being a bit snarky was a fitting response to someone whos critique of her writing of love and inclusiveness resorted to addresseng her sex life.
She has to deal with the Patriachy of the Catholic Faith constantly and is a shining light of hope and change. -
Joe, might want to read that again (but put the chip down first). She is being explicite in her expression of truth, couched within a religious perspective.
Giovanni, that is a rather confused statement about Church infallibity & a pardon. One negates the other, but will resist taking on all of your strawmen.
Was Count Dracular a lapsed Christian?

What nothing from the 1600s?

Taking such a myopic view of religion isn't becoming. Can I suggest a little Sr Chittister?

Exposing wrongs is a right thing to do. I wait patiently for the expose on State abuse.

I was stunned by Giovanni Tiso on page 33.
A wee search has explained this (to me) as Giovanni having a few unresloved family issues I'm sure he was teased about as a kid.

I like the circus gates, makes me think there might be something exciting to see there. Maybe a spider monkeys throwing the brown stuff, or a lion. I know there's a clown or two. Or maybe it's Wrodneys new SuperCity exclusivity plan to exclude anyone from South Auckland, Mt Albert, West Auckland and the like (anyone know where Wrodney lives with his Mum?) .
