Forget Vettori for head of NZRFU, Vettori for President of The Universe FTW!

Yes, when I saw that ad I thought I'd either misunderstood the changes to the legislation, or they waaaaay misrepresented them...maybe a bit of Exhibit A + a bit of Exhibit B...but I have spoken to a number of people who are quite paranoid (even for stoners), some even going to extreme lengths such as not driving at all...speaks to their love of the green and other enhancements that'd they would rather be housebound than risk getting tested hahaha.

Whoa, someone really likes their job huh?
That list of movies he slated was hilarious, but not as hilarious as this comment about G.I Joe, which he appears quite fond of:
"G.I. Joe must be understood as an authentic measurement of our cultural values. Its appeal to the pop-commercial synapses also demonstrates livelier filmmaking than such utter banality as Iron Man and Star Trek and Harry Potter’s Half-Blooded Chintz"
Hahahaha.

Wow...just...wow.
Hilarious...can't be bothered with any of the details (I mean who really cares how/why Gotcha is structered/located etc), but the anger is so...angry!
Watch out Keith, if CK keeps on like this, you could be in trouble....oh no wait, you're the one who usually makes sense, has well constructed arguments etc, it's the OTHER lot who are complete nutters. Carry on!

From my limited experience of the breed, it was the casual brutality, glorification of criminality and abuse of women, and utter disdain for the property and human dignity of 'outsiders' that churned my stomach.
Completely agree, having had some more than limited experience with the breed - you can't choose your family - funny to think that I know of people from other more 'mainstream' groups who occupy much the same territory too...

Human Rights/Enforcement issues aside, the thing I don't get about the whole Gang Ban(g) situation in Whanganui is this - banning people wearing patches doesn't stop people from being 'gang members', and isn't it better to be able to clearly/easily identify 'the enemy' rather than having to squint or look twice?
'The Enemy' will still be out there, it'll just be harder to pick who they are?

Saw you at the Avatar screening yesterday RB - I have to admit that while the technology looks very clever, I much preferred District 9's use of special effects & CGI - it easily one of the best films I've seen at the cinema for a long, long time.
Inglorious Basterds left me a bit disappointed...I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it just didn't quite deliver for me - not a bad watch at all, but certainly didn't live up to the hype (IMO).

I can't help but wonder...the Big Night In can't have been cheap to execute...wouldn't it have made more cents (see what I did there?) to just donate the money they spent running the thing instead of passing off a 23 hour ad as fundraising?

There sure ain't a shortage of bad music writers...Simon Sweetman anyone?
I've got a dollar for anyone who can tell me what qualifies him to 'write' about music...I think he worked in a music shop at some point, in which case, colour him qualified!
