Thank you Russell, for an amazing evening. And thanks too, to Sofie, Steve, Jo, Jim et al for the wonderful company. Oh and major thanks to Simon... When a jaded crew applaud at the end of an evening, you can be assured that you've more than entertained. Lovely!
It was, I think the best 'use' of the Civic ever... Although I do have some notes for a debrief, Russell.
Sofie. It's not just that I love my job... I so love sharing the special and magic parts of it with you all...

And may I add: For those that missed the Civic tour, earlier in the year, there might be a chance to go for a bit of a wander... later in the evening.

There isn't even a CD... well apart from a live recording I made in Wellington a couple of weeks ago... and there's only 6 copies of that...
I'll see if I can get some video of tomorrow nights gig. Trouble is, I get a bit busy :)

The Bellbirds are playing at the Auckland Town Hall Concert Chamber tomorrow night... the perfect venue for their Baroque Pop (which is as good a description as I can think of) ...
For those that haven't heard them, there's some video on You Tube of the spellbinding Late At The Museum gig from a couple of months ago.
Yes, I know it's a totally blatant plug for the gig, but there's been bugger-all publicity, and the film festival has probably grabbed all the attention.
Oh yeah, in the interests of disclosure, I am their soundman and so am totally biased. But I've in the 30 years I've been in this industry, I've never seen audiences so captivated. It's damn spooky the way everyone shuts up and actually listens!
The Sami Sisters are supporting too!
