A lot of the arguments -mostly directed at the once removed media angle rather than the cardinal issue of sexual violence – are built around black and white notions where the view is there is a correct way to deal with an issue and an incorrect way. This is pretty normal in torts class I suppose – but argument caught with idea that the people who do not fully agree have no understanding about sexual violence and the effects. Because they differ they are rape enablers, apologists or just the masses who just don’t get it. This is arrogant.

Agree that willie and JT probably do believe what they say - which is different than some talkback hosts. But re your exclusion The other argument for cutting out a guest is that they could develop into legal issues- is it possible that some of your comments could have raised those concerns?

Yeah that sounds plausible -teachers become journalists - certainly journalism degree is a relatively new aberration - before than six month and 12 month courses at polytechs put you on a cadet grade and you were assigned to rounds - which made you relatively knowledgable on specific topics - and sometimes these became niches, Degrees much more common nowadays
