All hail to the autochthons :) I was there too back when computers cost more than cars.
I find commercial radio quite distressing in that the announcing teams seem to delight in being vapid and shallow. Miss 12 likes the music on one channel but when the announcers start talking we just have to turn it off as it is so mind numbing.
So great that there is a new show in town.

I'm pretty much the same with most radio stations. KiwiFM is the big exception for me - the announcers sound like real people talking to you, as another person.

Reminds me of the former 2ZB, before it became subsumed and homogenised into the Newstalk ZB network.
Isn’t the commercial radio landscape in NZ yet another textbook symptom of a cartelised industry, given how cheaply the FM spectrum was hocked off for in the first place?
