Someone was asking about the capacity of Aotea Sq for people.
The answer is 20k.
Which sounds about right for a nice party central.

Thanks, Christopher. Surely if that were put together with the Viaduct, its new Events Centre and the private hospitality venues of both precincts, there'd be enough capacity - and choice.
Someone was questioning on Labour's Red Alert blog whether the RWC hosting rights came with a requirement to create a sponsor's product only area. Former RWC Minister Mallard didn't know.

But as I said on t'other thread, the ARC's proposal is in no way incompatible with using the wharf too. The cruise ships it would serve will be used as accommodation by thousands of fans. It's solely about McCully's hissy fit.
